Проблеммы с установкой genkernel

Добрый день товарищи.

Собираю gentoo с помощью пошаговой инструкции.
на этапе установки genkernel "emerge genkernel" возникла проблема. ругается как я понял на cpio

вот вывод в консоль

посоветуйте как бороться
систему ставлю на TOSHIBA setelite 1800-100 (старенький ноут http://www.nbprice.ru/catalog/model/203.htm)
