[Solved] Не могу собрать gcc

Пытаюсь установить из stage1: распаковал, chroot, emerge --sync
дальше /usr/portage/scripts/bootstrap.sh вываливается на сборке gcc-4.1.2

Я уважаю ваш выбор, но всё же рекомендую рассмотреть вариант с stage3. Даже если нужно уместиться в 2 Гб.

Что бы уместиться в 2Гб, уже начинаю поглядывать в сторону LFS, а пока нет возможности дорваться до своей машины(без нее LFS мне все-таки не потянуть), решил поэкспериментировать со stage1. // это из соседней ветки

Насколько я понял проблем с этим народ не испытывает и даже пишет HOWTO в одну страницу. А мне как обычно повезло: отваливается bootstrap.sh, скорей всего моя ошибка но найти её я не могу.

Да, скорее всего, проблема в этом, поправил -- сейчас собирается. Все-таки опыт решает, я сам даже и не подумал о памяти.
