Медленно и грустно умирает хард...

Пару месяцев уже наблюдаю следующую печальную картину: Иногда при включении компа, он доходит до надписи Grub loading, после чего из недр железяки доносится протяжный жалобный звук, и всё останавливается. Нажимаю Reset, иногда грузится нормально, иногда опять зависает. Со временем это происходит всё чаще и чаще. Умом понимаю, что жёсткому кирдык, но сердце не приемлет... Словом, посоветуйте, чё можно сделать, хоть прогу какую, чтоб протестить хард.

P. S. Жёсткий Seagate 300 Gb, параллельно с ним стоит хард Maxtor с Виндой и с собственным загрузочным разделом (grub грузится с Seagate, который у меня primary).

Вот эти параметры у тя на пределе. У меня они тоже ползли вверх, пока я блок питания на нормальный не заменил. Не факт, что дело в нем, но мне это помогло, и еще я поставил 2 вентилятора в корпус, сзади и спереди. Сейчас температура на всех 3-х винтах: 33-36 градусов.

P.S. А, и кстати, параметры изменил в /etc/conf.d/hdparm
hda_args="-d1 -c1 -u0"
pata_all_args="-d1 -c1 -u0"

Всего только 100 плохих блоков на диске

И они заменены на блоки из резервной области. Так что вполне рабочий диск. Поиграйся с UDMA в BIOS. Или с кабелями проблема. У меня был случай -- загузке мешал дурацкий cdrom на том же кабеле. Пришлось отсоеденить.
