Система виснет!!!

Столкнулся с проблемой, на моем бук при копирование файлов постоянно зависает. Не могу понять в чем дело то ли систему криво поставил то ли железо кривое.

Проверка - завести эту же систему на другом подобном ноуте...

Ноута не было,

Ноута не было, но вставлял винт в настольный комп вроде все работало без сбоев.
На что гретить не знаю, потестил винт сбойных блоков нет, память тоже провтил MemTest`ом тоже в норме. Остолось процессор и манеринка, хочется выяснить точно чтоб в срвисе долго бук не держали.

Попробуй поставить ФриБСД на ноут и погонять копирование файлов и чтение и запись диска при помощи дд. также memtest погоняй.

Если будут ошибки то плохо( Может быть поставить другой винт...

memtest пробывал, все в норме. Винчестер тоже тестил. Вот не знаю что будет проще FreeBSD или винду просто поставить. Сегодня заметил что звисания не все глухие, после некоторых отживает, может всетаки что то с ядром?

Я видел что-то подобное на старом IBMе головы не даю, но мне кажется x600.
Голову ломали долго все. Там сразу после распакования stage'а и chroot'e на него ничего не хотело копироваться вообще.
Пришлось ставить debian (который как ни странно встал без проблем), на нем компилить портаж и переводить всю систему в gentoo.

Поставил винду, ни одного зависания. Теперь весь в раздумьях что делать, не хочется в винде то сидеть... Может еще разок попробывать поставить gentoo?

Может с новым ядром linux-2.6.23 заработает? Там вроде стабильную поддержку Userspace Driver API реализовали...
