DRM_I915_ENTERVT failed: Unknown error

X и оконные менеджеры

ситуация следующая: все отлично работало (правда машину я не перегружал уже почти месяц), пару дней назад обновлял мир, какие именно пакеты обновлялись я не помню =) их там около 50-ти было. сегодня понадобилось перезагрузить машину и иксы не стартуют, т.е. монитор черный, на клаву не реагирует, но можно закти на нее через ssh. в конце Xorg.0.log значится вот такая ошибка:

нет =) сделал... попутно еще собрал ядро 2.6.29, пересобрал mesa и ситуация слегка изменилась... теперь XDM стартует, дает ввести логин с паролем, после чего начинает грузиться гном - отрисовывает обои и свое окошко в котором внизу рисует иконки чего он в данный момент подргужает (не помню как это по научному называется) и на этом все зависает... клава и мышь не работают... но можно попрежнему зайти по ссш....

Были негативные отзывы о проблемах с этим пунктом
Если не поможет, то попробуй настроить ядро, как в моем посте http://www.gentoo.ru/node/13791#comment-101039

спасибо! все заработало =) правда у меня в фоне еще и "emerga -e wold" копашилось...

все равно зависло :((

т.е. теперь GNOME полностью загрузился... но если запустить копмиз (я его ручками пуксаю) все умирает с выше описанными симптомами... :/
