А выливается это в то, что разрешение - 640х480.
Что самое смешное - 3d ускорение работает (glxgears а также opengl хранители экрана работают на ура, не грузя проц)

а ты в конфиге разрешение поставь, оно и будет его юзать - а так оно хочет максимум что видюха тянет, а моник это неможет показать

Домудрился

Помогло. Нет слов. Я выяснял частоты прорисовок пикселей, линий, кадров и проч. Прописывал ModeLine, грузил Knoppix, сдирал от-туда частоты...
