проблема с запуском иксов

псле бновления перестали запускаться иксы - комп продолжает работать но сделать ничего нельзя -
клавиатура отключается , а сам процесс Х съедает 99% цпу

пересобрал ядро без поддержки фреймбуфера и все заработало
но так и не удалось посмотреть на это чудо ((
странно, обычно
странно, обычно только энвидия выпадает от фрамбуффера в ядре.

Ничего странного если используется ATI драйвер для фреймбуфера и для X. Так как два драйвера пытаются в данном случае управлять одним устройством. Надо либо FB ставить vesa либо X выводить через vesa. Лично я выбрал первое :)
у меня до uvesa
у меня до uvesa стоял radeonfb и всё прекрасно работает вместе с закрытыми дровами ATI. это драйвер от nVidia матерится на свой framebuffer
У меня сеогдня
У меня сеогдня с клавой аналогичный глюк, появляется kdm, вводишь пару букв и усе, иксы на клаву перестают реагировать, ваабще
но мышь пашет нормально
выбираю console login, перезапускаю это барахло /etc/init.d/xdm restart, все нормально
вообще че то обновился вчера, одни глюки сплошные, то со временем, то с иксами, над lm_sensors уже с утра бьюсь

Еще глюк в копилку: работают иксы и через некоторое врдмя отрубается клава. Время - всегда рандом, да и вобще может не отрубиться. А на днях вылезло - не с того ни с сего перестало работать колесико у мышки, причем нажатие работает, а прокрутка нет.
